With nothing more than a chivalrous death to look forward to,
love, affection, or nurturing thoughts were not something these warriors were accustomed to.
Constantly obligated and forced to stay strong;
any comfort or true happiness could not last for too long.
Although holding a cherished loved one in their arms again, never was a certainty;
brave and fearless they fought, these soldiers of the ancient centuries!
Resembling the sadly written archives of The Carmina Burana,
a knight's only comfort was to die with complete honor.
As they fought with unmeasurable bravery,
their motivation was driven, only by the belief in achieving a great victory!
